The basic concept for the vacuum type toilet is to make toilets more sanitary and environmentally friendly. The toilet chamber is perfectly insulated from the odor coming from the bowl. The bowl is rinsed up effectively with minimal volume of water and the sewage is carried away into the sewage tank by the powerful force of vacuum. As one of the toilet systems most suitable for vehicles, the vacuum type toilet is rapidly coming into wide use.

The Electric Water Supply Equipment, which integrates a water tank and a feed pump to supply clean water for use on board a train, is very convenient water supply equipment.
Compared to the conventional equipment, it offers a much easier loading onto vehicles and maintenance. The tank is made of stainless steel, which can flexibly meet the characteristic requirements of individual vehicles and variation of storage capacity.

For the engines preheater, diesel oil or kerosene is used to raise the temperature of the engine's. Using the hot water, the engine is preheated for smooth start even in winter as well as to prevent wear. The preheater is also used to heat the compartment.
Furthermore, it can be used to maintain or rise the water temperature together with the hot water heating unit.

The hot water heating units are of the hot air blowing type.
The photograph shows the radiator unit which is arranged according to the size of a large-sized passenger quarter of the rolling stock and buses. The unit with a defroster is available to install a heater together.
